The New FIAT 500 Cult is Set to Premiere in Switzerland This Week

The Geneva Motor Show kicks off this week and automakers from around the globe are prepping new looks, concept models, and pre-production rides to entertain the European crowd. Given that this is all going down in their backyard, you know FIAT will be there with an offering of their own.

It has been decided that a new addition the FIAT 500 family will make its debut at the 84th installment of the auto salon. The crowd will take in the top-level Cult trim of the 500 and the model will feature everything from a new powertrain to exclusive paintjobs.

Birmingham, AL techies get ready: there will be a 7" digital display inside this new ride. The helpful addition will give drivers updates about the vehicle's gas mileage, range depending upon current level of fuel, and it can even track your progress on the road.

For onlookers' delight, the model comes along with new 16" wheels, chrome or blacked out detailing, and 3 all-new colors to choose from. Drivers can opt for Lattementa Green, Three-layer White, or Italia Blue.

Finally, the biggest news is what's under the hood. The FIAT engineering team turned out a new 104-hp version if their TwinAir Turbo engine. The updated powertrain boasts stop/start technology to keep things even more efficient and just so that you remember style plays a part in everything this brand does, there's a flashy exhaust to say "Ciao" to each motorist you pass by.

We're all ears about this new trim and when we learn more, we'll report it back to you on our FIAT of Birmingham blog. If you'd like to add a little more attitude to your current ride, then talk to the team in our FIAT parts department and they can get you what you need.
